Lincolnland District President Dennis Koch has announced a membership recruitment and retention contest for the 2008-2009 administrative year.

The grand prize for the winner of the contest will be 3 nights lodging and airfare for two to Las Vegas Nevada or Orlando Florida* and will be awarded at the 2009 District Convention.

Here's how the contest works:

For every new member brought into Exchange between July 1 2008 and June 15 2009, the member's sponsor will have a ticket with his or her name entered into the contest. When a sponsor reaches five new members during that time period, and additional five tickets will be entered. Ten new members will earn an additional ten tickets and a club builder will receive an extra 25 tickets. The more members recruited, the better your chances to win. Here's the catch - the new members must be in good standing with the local, District and National Exchange Clubs as of the close of business on June 19, 2009 ( the Friday of the District Convention). In other words, if a member joins in August and quits in May, no ticket will be entered into the contest for the sponsorship of that member.

The winner's name will be drawn during the installation banquet on Saturday Evening, June 20, 2009 at the District Convention. The trip must be used by December 31, 2009*.

Accommodations will be at the Hilton Grand Vacation Club at the Flamingo in Las Vegas, Nevada or the Hilton Grand Vacation Club at Sea World in Orlando Florida. Air transportation will be coach seating on American Airlines and depart from Chicago or St Louis.
