This edition of "Around Lincolnland" features the Rink Side fundraising event for the Lake County Exchange Clubs Foundation for the Prevention of Child Abuse.  For more information on this special event, please contact Division 1 Director Mike Oster at oster.michael@sbcglobal.net.

The seven Lake County Exchange Clubs (Grayslake, Gurnee, Gurnee Breakfast, LMV, North Chicago, Round Lake Area, and Waukegan) are hosting the Rink Side Fundraiser on Sunday, February 28th, to benefit the Lake County Exchange Clubs Foundation for the Prevention of Child Abuse.  The event will be held at Rink Side Family Entertainment in Gurnee Mills from 10 AM to 8 PM.  Rink Side features miniature golf, laser tag, video games, ice skating, and tornado rides, and the Lake County Foundation will receive 20% of the sales accompanied by special flyer tickets (see attachment).  Sponsorship packages ranging from $25 to $250 are also being sold.  There will be a silent auction from noon until 4 PM, and raffle prizes include a Disney vacation, a Samsung flat screen television, and a Nintendo Wii.  In addition to having a great time at the event, the Lake County Exchangites will promote our Programs of Service in Americanism, Community Service, Youth, and the Prevention of Child Abuse.
